last.fm is a fantastic website for those into music, they allow you to track your favourite artists and/or tracks from your favourite player via a plugin as well as creating a whole community around the idea so that you can discuss your favourite tracks with others.

They also have a free player which allows you to listen to the type of music your into via their radio services, even adding your favourite songs into a list and striking ones out that annoy you - fantastic!
